Chocolate Zucchini Cake

Zucchini have a way of getting out of control in the garden. Turn your back and the next thing you know you have dozens and they are all HUGE. Turn some into cake ... yummm.

½ c. oil
¼ c. butter
1 ¾ c. sugar
2 eggs
2 cups fresh grated zucchini (if using frozen, make sure to drain thoroughly!)
1 tsp vanilla
½ c. buttermilk
4 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. cinnamon
2 ½ c. flour
1 6-oz. package chocolate chips
2 tbsp of white and brown sugar mixed together.

Cream together oil, butter and sugar. Add eggs and zucchini. Add some of the dry ingredients, then some of the buttermilk while mixing, repeating until both are completely added to the batter. Pour into a 9x13 pan and top with a 6 oz package of chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar mixed with 2 tablespoons of white sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-35 minutes.
